What deleting removes

Deleting your account permanently removes:

• your email address and your account itself
• every event you own — guest lists, tables, rooms, rules and seating charts
• the full version history of those events
• any floor plans you uploaded

If an event you own has been shared with other people, deleting your account removes it for them too. There is no way to transfer an event to someone else first.

This is immediate and cannot be undone. We cannot recover a deleted account, and neither can you. Copies held in encrypted backups are purged within 90 days.

Anything Placette saved only on a device — a phone, a tablet, a laptop — stays on that device until you delete the app or clear that browser’s storage for this site. Deleting your account from inside the app erases the copy on the device you use to do it.

Billing records are kept for seven years, because tax law requires it. They contain what you paid and when, not your guest lists.

Delete it from inside Placette

If you still have Placette installed, this is the quickest route:

1. Open Placette and sign in.
2. Tap your email address in the top right.
3. Under Danger zone, choose Delete my account.
4. Read what will be removed, type DELETE, and confirm.

Deleted the app already?

Enter the email address you signed in with. We will send you a sign-in code; signing in takes you straight to the same deletion screen described above.
